Chairman
Mr. Suresh Shah is one of the most respectable, reputed
and experienced banker in Kenya. He is the founder Chairman
of I&M Bank, which has operations in Kenya, Tanzania
and Mauritius. He also Chairs many other business interests
of the group. His standing and integrity provides a lot
of credibility to the company. A true visionary, he guides

Director
A career diplomat and
experienced bureaucrat, Mr. Kiplagat has been the Company’s
Director for over 10 years. He is also the Chairman of
K-Rep Bank, a microfinance Bank and therefore knows the
Kenyan Financial sector at the highest level of policymaking.
Mr. Kiplagat guides the company on many management and
strategic issues. |

| Sarit S. Raja Shah |
Director
Mr Shah holds a BSc in Economics and MSc in Internal Audit.
Banker by profession, he is the Executive Director of
I&M Bank. He brings the knowledge, experience and
discipline of banking and financial sector to GA Insurance.
He is also a member of GA’s Board Audit and Investment
Committees. Mr Sarit Shah’s presence on the GA board
has generated a viable synergy between GA Insurance and
I&M Bank. |

| Philip Ransley |
Director
Mr. Ransley’s association
with company’s board goes back several years. A
retired Judge of the Kenyan High Court, he sits on the
board of several companies. Mr. Ransley’s acumen
in legal and social reforms earned him to head the Kenya
government’s Police Reforms Commission. His knowledge
of law and regulations has been invaluable in guiding
the company on several occasions. He has a good experience
of the investment market in Kenya and chairs GA’s
Board Investment Committee. |

Director
Mr. Soudararajan has a
long illustrious career in Banking and Insurance. He is
one of the most experienced and well-known senior professionals
in the financial sector in Kenya. He was the Managing
Director of CFC Bank and has been in the past on the board
of reputable insurance companies in Kenya and Tanzania.
He has been instrumental in some of the successful mergers
of Insurance Companies and Banks in the Kenyan market.
Currently he is heading the Delta Corporation, a real
estate property investment company affiliated to Reliance
Industries Limited of India. He also chairs GA’s
Board Audit Committee. |

Executive Director
A graduate in Banking
and International Finance from UK, Sachit Shah has great
entrepreneur skills in financial services sector. He is
also a Director of I&M Bank, Coastal Bottlers and
few other industries. Mr. Sachit Shah has to his credit
the transformation, growth and development of GA Insurance
after the takeover of the company. He exhibits the fresh,
reformed and new dynamic look of the company. |

& Principal Officer
As
CEO and Principal Officer he leads and is responsible
for all the operations of the company. A qualified insurance
professional, he is post-graduate in Physics and Associate
of Insurance Institute of India. Mr. Vijay has vast experience
of over twenty-five years in various managerial positions
in insurance industries in India, Tanzania and Kenya.
His technical knowledge, flair in marketing and managerial
skills has contributed in inculcating a new work culture
in the company. |
